Sleeping easy? or Hardly Sleeping?

HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

A) Good

B) Ok

C) Terrible

D) I don’t

I used to be a combination of C and D

I would struggle to fall asleep

Or stay asleep

And when I woke up in the morning at the crack of dawn, I’d be wide awake

And even though I was awake, I was exhausted and frazzled

Little did I know that I was stuck in a harmful habits-stress-sleep cycle

I WAS SUPER STRESSED AND ANXIOUS

So I couldn’t sleep

Then I would drink coffee all day to keep me functioning

And eat junk food to ‘energise me’ through the day

I would rush around non stop

And then to ‘wind down’ at night

I would drink wine and doom scroll or binge shows

Then it would be time for bed

AND I WOULD BE EXHAUSTED BUT WIRED

And could not for the life of me fall asleep (or stay asleep)

Turns out a lot of my habits were throwing my whole body off balance

So my body didn’t know which way was up

Everything was out of whack

Which meant I was trapped in an endless loop

It wasn’t until I changed my habits

Little by little

Step by step

THAT EVERYTHING CHANGED

When I started to shift my evening routine

I found it easier to wind down

To relax

To unwind and actually fall asleep and stay asleep

And it got even better when I changed my morning routine

I felt better throughout the day

I had more energy

I could focus better

I made better choices (especially when it came to what I ate)

Once I learned the simple steps to breaking the cycle

To reduce stress - which helped me sleep better

And when I slept better which reduced my stress

I felt like a whole new person

SO THE QUESTION IS

Do you struggle to fall asleep at night? Or stay asleep?

Do you feel sluggish and awful, and tired or wired when you wake up in the morning?

Do you know which of your habits are keeping you stuck?

And how to change them (so you can step easy - every - single -night)?

If you need an easy place to start that breaks down harmful sleep habits

And shows you how to change them, one step at a time, this is for you.
